Anquanette Clegg

Founder

For over two decades, Anquanette “Ann” Clegg, affectionately known as “Mikki,” a bondservant of Jesus Christ, has been leading and serving ministries for the cause of Him.  At an early age, God saved Ann, and the Great Commission, as stated in Matthew 28:19, has been the driving force behind every decision in her life to lead others to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Ann Clegg is the oldest girl of 8 siblings.  She was saved very early and baptized by her father, Pastor Ulysses Hendrix, of Christ Disciples Ministry.  In 2007, Ann married Antonio Clegg, and together they are parents to one son Antonio Clegg Jr. As a graduate of Lawrence Technological University and a certified Project Manager of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Ann utilizes her educational skills both professionally and administratively to further the Kingdom of God.

As a child, Ann watched how her parents lived out the cause of Christ by preaching and teaching the Word of God at church in rearing up her siblings and their work in the community.  In the ’90s, her parents started a community Bible Study for kids, where over 20 kids came to their home weekly to learn about the Bible. Experiences of this nature shaped Ann’s walk with God and began her ministry and service to others. After the death of her mom in 1995, She began living out the call God placed on her life, teaching the Bible to Women and Children in practical terms in an effort for them to know the Word of God, discern the Holy Spirit’s voice, and to teach others how to disciple those around them. Through the Holy Spirit’s leading, Ann was able to:

  • Start a College Campus Bible Study Group

  • Start a women’s bible study in her home, later becoming Sister’s Trusting In Christ.

  • Vacation Bible School Director and Teacher, where over 100+ kids participated yearly

  • Sunday School Director and Teacher

  • Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Class Administrator and Facilitator Lead

  • Hosted first Women’s Conference in 2022

Ann’s passion for seeking the lost and building the faith of women who trust in God will continue to be her focus for the rest of her life. Although she’s faced many trials, tribulations, and tears while fulfilling the purposes of God, it has all been for His glory.

For if we died with Him, we shall also live with Him.  If we endure, we shall also reign with Him.  If we deny Him, He also will deny us.  If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself. -  2 Timothy 2:11-13
